SSSHHHHHH... Don't Wake Him!

"Monsters were never under my bed.
Because monsters were inside my head.
I fear no monsters for no monsters I see
Because all this time, the monsters been me."

~Nikita Gill

Don Snoreleon Alias Vonshitsinpants

Quote Of The Day

"Vonshitsinpants"
~Michael Cohen to Donald Trump over Twitter

Entered as evidence, in the latest Gag Order hearing, (#2) regarding a tweet sent from Michael Cohen, a while back. Which amounts to, "that big stupidhead, called me Vonshitsinpants." Grown humans here.

I will post a new post later today, but this tickled me.

Whatever.

This is the way with Donald Trump, especially during his presidency, one day could be SCARY AS HELL, and the next day it would be laugh on the floor funny! It just depended on the flow. Mostly though, in all seriousness, I was pretty much continuously terrified during his time in office. So much so, that I am now on several anti-depressants that I didn't need prior to his taking office. I fear his regaining power. It terrifies me! I have never felt so helpless, because you can't make people care. You can't make people be smart about their decisions. I do some praying, but free will overrules me. So now what? I guess all I can do I will just take the laughs along the way. And hopefully, maybe some judge will actually shut him the fuck up!

It's 3 Minutes Till Midnight... For Now

"Ours is a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants. We know more about war than we know about peace, more about killing than we know about living. We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the mount."

~General Omar Nelson Bradley

According To The Doomsday Clock
it is 3 Minutes To Midnight

It's Trump's America. He was sworn in just five days ago, and he has lied, pouted, stood in front of a wall of stars that represented the fallen CIA agents that given their lives for America to remain a free country, only to whine and complain about how shitty his life is. How he would have won the popular vote, had their not been wide spread voter fraud. A lie. How when he took the oath of office their must have been 1.5 million people on the national mall observing his historical moment. Also a lie. Actual estimates put it at somewhere around 250,000.

We have been lied to about this trivial event, and told that Trump believes in his own "alternate facts." All because he felt threated by the amazing turnout the Women's March had, which was estimated at 3 million world wide. He has shut down the phone number at the White House where you can call to voice your opinions and complaints about the nation you live in. He has suspended the Twitter accounts of the National Park service, because the have tweeted out accurate estimates of the effects of climate change.

Trump is sick, and he is getting sicker every single day.

He seems to see people who aren't there.

And he carries with him, as all presidents do, the nuclear codes.

What happens when he begins to hear voices that aren't there?

He needs no authorization.

He just needs the right slight and he will press the button.

And the world will end.

I don't really sleep anymore...

UPDATE:
As of January 27th, 2017, the Doomsday Clock is 2 minutes and 30 seconds till midnight!

Yes Sir! Yes Sir!

"Most beds sleep up to six cats. Ten cats without the owner."

~Stephen Baker

Hendrix is a bit camera shy, I am not sure why, but he is, so for the most part I grant him his wish and don't snap a lot of photos of him. It's a shame though, because he is a darling little soul, and he is quite photogenic! The only reason I got this photo is because he was instructing me to take my shower, so I could get in bed for cuddle time. You see, he tucks us in at night, a ritual he started when Alan began working Sunday nights, and every other Monday night. Hendrix is a caregiver, and I am a lucky girl! The bed stays nice and warm with three cats and a husband in the bed.

Letting Sleeping Cats Lie

"I want to go to sleep in my time machine and wake up eight hours in the future."

~Jarod Kintz, This Book Is Not For Sale

No one knows how to enjoy sleep quite like cats do, because insomnia does not exist in their world! I wonder... is it because they feel no guilt? Or remorse? Or negativity in general. They don't ruminate about  stupid things they have no way of dealing with. They fantasize, but their dreams are of their realities. Catching butterflies. Chasing mice. Jumping high up on fences. Exploring the world. Cuddling up in a safe place and letting the sun warm them. Eating a good meal. Who knows? There are probably a million reasons my cats sleep better than I do. But all those things sound really wonderful, and I should do more of them I think.

Sleeping Dylan

"Meow means "woof" in cat."

~George Carlin

Dylan has an amazingly calm affect on me. Just watching him sleep helps me sleep better. On the other hand, when he is talkative... he is TALKATIVE! Dylan does not have any problem speaking his mind. The subject varies from MY BROTHER HENDRIX IS A JERK, to PLAY BALL WITH ME RIGHT NOW! Sometimes he will make little sounds and noises when calling me. I have heard his say MaMa. I know, it's hard to believe. Sometimes, very early in the morning, I can hear him in the window answering the call to morning coming from the cute little rooster next door. And most evenings you can hear what sounds a lot like singing coming from the bathroom just off my office. It's a fairly regular event since he was a small kitten. He gets into the bathtub, and sings away. I think he likes the acoustics in there. LOL. There is stress in life, it can't be avoided, but when you have a little person like Dylan, who loves you no matter what, it makes everything so much easier to take!

I love him. He is my baby.

"If animals could speak, the dog would be a blundering outspoken fellow; but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much."

~Mark Twain
