I love brand new make quick sandwiches, although I will never forget my first bite of an Olga, or a Croque Monsieur. I am looking forward to this one, for hot days, like today, when I just can' deal with stuff! You know, cat dramas, shootings under your bedroom window, being charge double at Amazon, a cats which insists on standing on my computer keyboard, and connecting me to a random MAGA website. Ugh... you get it. So, what's a girl to do? She makes herself a drool worthy sandwich, grabs a fruit salad, and a coke, and settles down front of a movie with the best husband ever!
I love the use of Heirloom tomatoes, but it's not quite the time of the year for them, so I am substituting red onion or perhaps some bacon, to give it a BLT variation.

It is currently going for about $2.33 cents, down from it's all time high of $73.43 in January of 2025. Trump Media's all time high stock price of $97.54, on March 4th, 2022, has fallen to it's current low of $8.82 cents in today's premarket.
Donald Trump is a dangerous man, who will stop at nothing to destroy America and all we stand for. I know that only a few people read my blog anymore, so perhaps I am screaming into the void, but please, if you are still MAGA, but you have been catching him in lies, and grifting, please consider for a moment, whether or not, I am your enemy, just because I am a Democrat and I see Trump for who he is. I don't know that the midterms will be the great savior for us. Impeachment could happen as early as a year from now, but that will simply put J.D. Vance in office, and we all know where he stands. Just read the Project 2025 agenda. We are losing more and more every day, and we will continue to lose as long as we don't get proactive. We tried to warn you before, please hear us now!

I haven't done a food review in a while, so...
This is the new drink at Starbucks. Think butterflies! First let me say, the photo I took doesn't do it's beauty justice! It's really pretty. Three layers of orange, pink and purple, which make the cup look like a missile bar, you know, that cool tropical frozen treat from when we were kids! The same bar had three different names, Missiles,Big Stick and Monster bars. I guess it was a regional thing. Anyway, the bars were cherry and pineapple flavored, but the Butterfly drink is made up of guava and passionfruit, poured over mango-pineapple pearls. There are three versions of the drink. I ordered the Tropical Butterfly Lemonade Refresher, which was quite tangy and sweet, but you might opt for the, Tropical Butterfly Energy Refresher, or the, The Butterfly drink, which comes with coconut milk or the milk of your choice. It was a little too sweet for my liking, I mean I have a sweet tooth, but this drink was a little too much. I think I will be sticking with my favorite drink, the Iced Tea Chai Latte. I love the spices, mixed with the milk. As I am not a coffee drinker, my chai latte is very pleasant any time of day.
Go try the Butterfly drinks, just know, it's a lot sweeter than most Starbucks drinks!
I saw this movie when it came out in 1978, and instantly wanted to paint my room green and yellow! And I eventually did! I just fell in love with the bright, enthusiastic and happy disposition, which wasn't a lot different from the personality of the movie's main character, Gloria Mundy. The movie is funny, it's mildly suspenseful and It's got a wonderful cast of characters, including a snake named, Esme, to keep your mind reeling! And you gotta love the cast including, Mr. San Francisco, Cyril Magnin, as the Pope, and San Francisco as itself! My beautiful home, has never been more beautiful! Well, I am partial, so that's probably not true, because any time I get a glance of the city by the bay, my heart sings. I miss home so much, but I will see her again soon, but for now, Foul Play, will hold me over. Watch it! Chevy Chase is hysterical, and Brian Dennehy brings the serious moments.
I love Mr. Newberger's AI Funnies. It's a great way to begin, what is promising to be a stressful week! Trump has refused Iran's latest offer of a ceasefire, to complete a framework, to end the war. Trump continues to post stupid memes to his Truth Social account, and through it all, we have his psychotic cabinet doing one stupid thing after another. And if all that wasn't enough... ugh... there is an outbreak of the Hantavirus, that while seems to be held to a small number of folks, it still worries me because who can put their trust in the CDC anymore. And I have a week of appointments coming up. An eye exam, appointments with my therapist and my psychiatrist, and a trip to the lab for a blood test! FUN! So why a little humor ... right? Especially if it has a ring of truth to it!
The World Heath Organization has additional information about the virus, but I don't know if I believe them either. All we can do is listen to what they have to say, mask up, wash our hands several times a day, stay Informed, and avoid crowds. Doing our own research doesn't hurt either.

This past week belonged to Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth and Kashyap Patel. J.D. Vance was missing in action, and Donald Trump proved Marco Rubio to be a fool, when he contradicted him about the war in Iran, then sent him to smooze, charm and generally smooth things over regarding Trump's little tiff with Pope Leo! Kash Patel was again scrutinized for his drinking, and idiotic behavior during his time as F.B.I Director. And good old Pete Hegseth was just being a fake tough guy, which he constantly fails at. He's a joke! They all are, and they are taking this county down the wrong road.
You could say...
Trump is taking us down a widdershins direction! And it keeps me up nights!
