No Quote Necessary

READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT!

His cosplay Blue Suits showed up again on Monday. There is no more time to laugh, or pretend it's just Trump being Trump. He isn't wacky or eccentric, he's insane and he has told everyone his truth, he wants to be a dictator on day one! He wants to rule the world in the style of Hitler. He hasn't been hiding it!

Please, for God's sake, listen to me, not him.

HE. IS. DANGEROUS!
Once he takes office... he will never, ever leave!

23 And Me (Part Two)

"Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come,
whispering, 'it will be happier'... "

~Alfred Lord Tennyson

23 And Me...
(Part 2)

Will the year to come be happier then 2022? That remains to be seen, but so far, yeah, I would say it has potential, even though I am still perpetually in transition. It started with the move, way back in 2015. The anniversary of the first day of this adventure will be here soon, and it still fills me with a unique sadness that I know is deeply misplaced, yet it will be here soon, March in fact. But it feels like I am finally letting go of all that, and I am finally beginning to transition through the experience of owning and losing my first home. That's the easy part. Dealing with the pain of selling my first home, under the circumstances that existed, will be a little later down the road. Nope, I still haven't grieved over the loss of the house, but I know I will one day, and it will be spectacular!

Speaking of houses, grieving, and transitions, guess what? We are currently in escrow to buy the condo! I can't believe it! Nicole decided to sell the place late last year, and the thought crossed our minds to purchase, rather than pack... again... so soon. Its what's best, and as Ajeanna said about the first condo... the one in Patterson that started all this... it's not forever. As I have come to learn, "it's not forever" applies to just about everything. Why am I not bouncing off the walls in a nervous fit? Simple, I don't think we will get it. There is a lot working against it, debt to income rations being just one. If we do get it, well then, life won't change from what I am currently used to, so I guess I am flowing with the white caps, and doing just fine. I'll worry about the potential for Tsunamis after it swallows me up. What else can I do?

2023 is revealing itself a little at a time, and I am not scared.

Steady on.

Whispering From Every Leaf

"There is another alphabet, whispering from every leaf, singing from every corner, shimmering from every sky."

~Dejan Stojanovic

My favorite tree, it lives in Cull Canyon. It's showing autumn colors early, and it's soul healing. Soon, I hope to visit the trees in Berkeley. By the way, Trump was seriously considering launching a nuclear strike against China last year, on October 30th, and apparently the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs, Milley, saved us. Fuck me. I am not so sure that this would have not made my life easier. Help. As if this move isn't stressful enough.

Make this pain stop.

Perp Walk The Fucking Horse Already!

"Reality is the leading cause of stress
amongst those in touch with it."

~Jane Wagner

 Trump Time

So, what a year, am I right? Wow, the last 7 months of 2021 have been crazy! Wait... what's that? We are only on day 8? Nah... you joke! What's that? No? You're not kidding? It's only day 8 of 2021? But... when did Trump make that call to Georgia election officials, you know, when he tried to coerce them into finding votes that never existed? That was Sunday? That was last Sunday, and we found out it, gulp, last Monday? Monday of this week? We did? This week? So, that means that it's Friday, January 8th, 2021. Right?

Fucking KILL ME.

All kidding aside, I know this shit will be over in time, if nothing else, Trump will HAVE TO LEAVE OFFICE ON JANUARY 20th WHETHER HE LIKES IT OR NOT. But the next 12 days hold the potential for a nothing but bullshit and tragedy. Who the fuck knows what he's capable of? He was kicked off Facebook for inciting violence, and he was in a 12 hour time out on Twitter, for similar reasons, although it seems he was forgiven, because he posted a hostage video last evening, where he faked sanity. Ordinarily I would link to it, but why? We all know they slipped him some anti-psychotics or something, and he will just spazz-out when they wear off, it's a long standing pattern will the Captain Psychotic. But boy, he sure does seem happy. Like he doesn't have a care in the world.

Most of us in the Resistance would kill to possess that kind of smug asshole-ish super ability. The ability to sleep at night with NO CONSCIENCE OR SENSE OF REALITY WHATSOEVER, to worry about! He no doubt tucks himself in at night, hugs his Big Mac, and drifts off to sleep plotting some wildly undemocratic, anti-American shitshow for the next day. It's his "thinking time". No waking with sweat pouring down his face. No night terror screaming, "HOLY SHIT WHO GAVE HIM A FOOTBALL?... while snoring. All we want is to be able to sleep too. Understand? See, I just want to sleep and not worry about the craven abilities and inclinations of a "horse loose in a hospital" or "toddler with a flamethrower."

12 more days until Biden Day.

What could happen regarding Captain Trumps?

25th Amendment? Gee, that sounds nifty.
Impeachment? For the second time? Yes please.
Arrest for launching a coup against the United States?

Is it my birthday? You don't have to ask me twice!

I mean he has to face some sort of consequences, right?

Look what he's done...

In case your wondering about my original photo at the top of this post, there is a small bird hiding in the tree. It saw me trying to take it's photo, and began teasing me. I am sure of it. It was fun. Birds get used to people with cameras in their hands. It was this past Sunday. I remember its like it was just yesterday. It was Alan, and me. We were at Woodbridge. There were a ton of small birds, of all kinds, flying in and out of trees, making a lot of noise, and playing, and I was happy. It was the beginning of the new year, and I was photographing new birds for my 2021 bird album. That pretty bird is the Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's Warbler). It is one of the first 10 birds to make it into my album, the next day I spotted, a few in my neighbors yard. I was really enjoying that challenge. They are fast little birds. But right now, I am scared and tired and I have a headache. I am unhappy. I want someone to make it stop. Fortunately, I trust Nancy Pelosi, so I know it will eventually stop. Someone will perp walk the horse out of the hospital. Right?

Enough Is Enough. Impeach The Motherfucker Already.

"YOU ARE LOVED" Messages In Autumn

"What is the name of your dream? A lovely wooden cottage in the middle of a forest? Or walking in an endless autumn path? What is the name of your dream? Don't give a name, always give a list! Fill yourself with dreams because dream is the path to reality."

~Mehmet Murat ildan

It's all about time. Today marks the first day back at work for Alan, and it also just happens to be the first Monday after the clocks are changed back an hour. Which is nice and all, but I think it will take us more than one hour to make up for how exhausting this vacation has been! It was not the most relaxing one we ever had, but in a lot of ways it could have been a lot worse. I will be posting this week about all the misadventures, but to start out the week on the right note, I am kicking this week off with a simple post about the beautiful leaves I came across on vacation. You see, no matter how awful things got, or what a waste of time every thing seemed, there was always the beautiful autumn light, the leaves, my fur-babies and my amazing Alan to make it all okay.

This year was number 29 for us! 29 years of ridiculous happiness! He and I have found something to laugh about, every single day we've been together. Even on our worst days, we make it work. How did I get so lucky? Or am I simply sleepwalking the best dream ever? Forget it... I don't want to know, I am happy to just continue counting my dreams, and watching them come true. Sitting at the bridge a couple weeks ago I got a really beautiful message from the universe, just when I needed it most! Look really closely at the picture of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you are seeing that message, and you are really glad you saw it, because you needed to feel loved, then it means it was sent to you as well, and I am very happy to pass it along to you!

"YOU ARE LOVED"

San Francisco is where love lives it's best life.

Now, on to the leaves.

Tears In Autumn

Saturday, November 10th 2018
4:30 pm.

"Tears are words that need to be written."

~Paulo Coelho

California is on fire. From the community of Paradise, to the fire in Malibu and Thousand Oaks, it is one big tragedy. Where is President Trump, well, he's in France insulting everyone who fought in WWII and pouting in his hotel room, because he doesn't want to get his hair wet!

Forget it. I don't want to deal with his useless ass. I am so sorry that my fellow Californians are going through these wildfires. We have been very lucky in the Central Valley, but one has to wonder how long that luck will last.

We are clearing brush. We are going to keep paperwork handy in case we need to get out quickly, and beyond that I thank GOD for homeowners insurance. TVs, Clocks, and computers can be replaced, Alan and the boys can't.

Pray for California please.
