I have spent the last week or so digging deep into my archives, trying to get photos moved to the new computer. I should have saved the images to either a portable storage device, or online cloud, but I procrastinate a bit, so now I find myself tasked with going through files going all the way back to 2003, to make decisions about what to store, what to keep on a flash drive, and what to store in one of the older computers I keep for just that... storing files.

It's quite a task, I have a lot of images to file, but it's a lot of fun too! I have been smiling a lot the last few days as I reminisce about my kitty Elvis... gosh I miss him... and all the flowers and interesting places I have been in the last decade! I have come across photos, and memories, I hadn't considered in years! I think tip-toeing through the archives more often! Sometimes one forgets just how happy they really are, and how happy they have been!

Life is good!

Time for a new Round Robin Photo Challenge, and this time the subject is one I suggested to Karen recently, The Rear View. The idea is simple, take a picture of something behind you. I suggested this subject because with the new year freshly upon us, I find myself leaving a lot of old thoughts and actions behind me. I am feeling much more positive this year, as I have learned to let go of the things bothering me the most. Anyway, enough of that, on with the photography...

The first photo was taken a couple weeks ago, in Pleasanton, California. It looks more like a side photo, and it kinda was, but in order to get that angle I had to contort in a very uncomfortable position in order to capture any of the reflection in that beautiful window. So, I think it counts. Hopefully.

Ordinarily I would post my monthly collage of photos on the last day of the month, but March it seems this year is a bit busy. HAPPY EASTER! LOL. No worries, especially since I air headed really bad last weekend and posted my Easter 2013 blog post a week early! LOL. Darned old cold... yeah... let's blame it on that... but in all fairness, I usually do have my dates and times better organized than that! Oh well, it was only live on the blog for a couple hours, and fortunately my visitors and readers have dwindled a bit, so I don't think anyone caught it! See, having no one read your blog isn't all that bad, right? And hey, you, the reader who does come by, get the occasional thrill of a post gone awry!

Let's just change the subject... shall we? I spotted the "Sunrise/Sunset" photo back in 2005, and found it again this week in a file I didn't even know existed, but when I saw it, I thought it was quite timely for this weekend. I wish I could remember where I found the two street signs, and there was nothing that ID'd it in the file, all I know is I took the photo using by old Konica Minolta. Oh well, it's a fun photo, and it made me happy to be able to use it. Now, on with March's best photographs, and a couple new ones at the end of the post.

Beautiful! March, despite this ridiculous head cold, was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL month. Okay, in my old age, spring is growing on me. Gosh I hate change, unless it's summer to autumn~ LOL.

A look Back At November 2012

It's time to remember November. When I was deciding which images to choose for my November review, I found myself wanting to go back so badly. I loved being on the San Francisco Bay on November 5th, watching that wonderful golden autumn sun fade behind the bridge. I wanted to be back in Union Square on Black Friday, enjoying that amazing hot chocolate we get every year at Il Cafe, and playing with Dylan as he hugged his favorite brush. Ahh... but I know... there's no going back. But just for fun, let's say I could. Just for a day. Which one would I choose? The Eco tour of the bay? That awesome election day? Thanksgiving?

I couldn't choose, and that is the real problem.

LOL.

I will just stay here in the present thank you.

But while we are here, let's enjoy the view, shall we?
