Autumn Leaf Of The Day #18

"If a year was tucked inside a clock, then autumn would be the magic hour."

~Victoria Erickson

I took this photo right at the end of summer, just before autumn officially began. The leaves fell from the trees as a whisper and wink to summers end. Something truly magical happens, when the autumn light intrudes on the last breath of summer, and summer only smiles.

“Autumn is a beautiful but sad poem that dying leaves recite with great enthusiasm so that the world will remember them as they bid farewell to the world!”

While the blooms
were singing the success songs of Summer;
