Autumn, In The Midst Of Living At My Desk

Here is what my old desk looked like...

When we still lived in the cottage, but since we moved my office space has changed, like all other parts of my life, completely. First of all, I have my own office, rather than using an extra large space off the kitchen that I think was meant for a pantry, but which fit my needs as an office much better. Now, my office has a door! LOL. And it looks out over the swimming pool, which is nice, because it casts a soft blue/green glow in the room early in the morning. It's on the east side of the house, which means I also get the gentle morning light of early morning. It's pretty early in the day, I just love that golden color. 

It's all white on the walls, but I have hung some posters and put up some simple shelves I got from IKEA. I have a new TV on the opposite wall, so I can watch my favorite shows while editing photos and posting to my blog. The biggest change might be my new desk, also from IKEA. I had a big desk, as you can see in the above photo, but Alan didn't want to move it, and it was kinda on it's last legs, so he took a hammer to it. My goodness my heart broke. I had a lot of good times at that desk, but it was time to move on I suppose. Sigh. Well, anyway, my office isn't quite finished, but it will be soon. Until then I will leave you with this brief glimpse.
