I love this candle, it is my favorite. Alan gave it to me... oh... about... 25 years ago or so. Long before we were dating. It was a friendship gift for Valentine's Day. It is one of those little items I call a treasure. I have a fear of fire, but I ask Alan to light some from time to time around the house, you know, to set a mood. LOL. This candle, however, sits on my desk at all times. I love just looking at it. It provides a different kind of light for me. :)

Oh, that's really cute! I had an aunt and uncle who made novelty candles in the late 1960s - mugs full of wax "beer," candles shaped like hands and laughing Buddhas and so on. I got a gray cat candle from them and kept it for many years until it melted in a box or something. Your cat reminds me of that long-lost candle!
That is definitely cute!I won't be lighting it if it's mine. It's too precious to be 'wasted away'.
I wouldn't light it either. It's just too cute.
