Round Robin Challenge: Water

From For Ellipsis

"I believe that water is the only drink for a wise man."

RRC: Water

I just had to smile when Karen posted the announcement entry for our current topic. You see, it has rained, here in the Bay Area, almost nonstop since the beginning of January, and so I know a little something about water! LOL. I didn't get out to get the photos I had planned to, arthritis doesn't do well in cold, wet weather, but in the archives I had some photos which haven't been posted for a while, as well as one photo taken recently, which I hadn't had a chance to post. Enjoy!

oh my goodness, these are simply breathtaking. I can "hear" the water splashing as it hits the rocks, babbling as it gently rolls along. Wonderful job on relaxing me with these photos Carly!

Oh Carly, you take my breath away with your photos! I am a newbie from photography, got my first dslr nikon d5000 and still couldn't figure it out what is the best for a certain scenario. Anyway, you are one of my idol here in blogosphere for taking great shots. Hope I can do just at least 1 percent from what you are doing hehe. Thanks for sharing!

BEAUTIFUL pictures! I love the texture of the moss on the stones with that small waterfall and the others are just stunning!

Golden Gate Park is such a nice place to spend a few hours (or more). The falls are so refreshing and relaxing. I love the glass of water with the lemon! You created a very nice collection of "water" photos!

That an awesome waterfall, Carly! and that drink.. suddenly I felt so thirsty, a tall ice-drink is perfect for our weather.

Fantastic photos, Carly! Perfect water shots. Waterfalls are so lovely - I didn't realize they had any at Golden Gate Park. Plus the leaf in the water -- so simple and yet so beautiful. As akways, you set such a good example of photography for the theme.

What a beautiful selection of water photos ! I like the one with the lemon slice, it's so artistic ! You could make some advertising for Coca Cola, lol !
