What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?

"Many people look forward to the new year for a new start on old habits."

-Unknown

It's been quite a year... hasn't it? I think I will be happy to see the clock tick-tock the time off, in fact, as far as I am concerned, I am on New York time, just like my blog. I am going to be drinking champagne with Alan, and making a happy noise later tonight... on New York time. As years go, it wasn't the worst year I have ever had, but I am ready to move on to a new one, that's for sure. Ring out the old... Ring in the new... right?

Clay Aiken

Maybe it's much too early in the game
Ooh, but I thought I'd ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?

Wonder whose arms will hold you good and tight
When it's exactly twelve o' clock that night
Welcoming in the New Year
New Year's Eve?

Ooh, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance:
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?

Maybe I'm crazy to suppose
I'd ever be the one you chose
Out of the thousand invitations
You received

Ooh, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance:
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?

Happy New Year Everyone! I am taking a few days off... see you in 2007!
