"My boyfriend thinks I lost my true calling to be a librarian."

I was thrilled when I heard what Becky's choice was for our current Round Robin challenge, because I could think of so many different images that could apply. Like these mannequins for instance. Now they are Super Models! I hate the new department store mannequins that have no head. To me it's...I don't know... creepy! So, when I happened onto this fun, trendy, very cool clothing store here in Berkeley, one day last year, and saw these girls I just knew had to photograph them. Suddenly I got to live out the fantasy of not being a Super Model, but a Super Model photographer! Now that would be a dream come true for me. I would love to have one of my photographs featured in a beautiful magazine like Vogue, and know that I got it right! Thanks Becky, cool challenge subject!

I love it! Especially the "super model" on the left. She looks kind of like an anime character.

These two can not eat and do fine. Of course I would not want to be in the store basement when I was all worn out and out of style!

Great shot, and I agree 100%! Those headless mannequins are somewhat eerie, not to mention they are either sexless, or of barbiesque proportions ... makes you wonder who could...or would...possibly wear the clothes they sport. And I'm with you too...despite my time on the other side of the camera when I was younger...I much prefer being a photographer and being on the back side of the camera...Fashion and figure photography is challenging and not something I would want to do exclusively, but having a layout in Vogue would be quite the ego-booster.
your models are super! my career in next life - window dresser!

Those are the best models to work with, they hold a pose and don't fuss about how long you're taking to get that 'perfect' shot! Very creative and colorful!
