A Photo A Day For 6 Months Day 18~ Happy 75th Anniversary Golden Gate Bridge

"The Golden Gate Bridge's daily strip tease from enveloping stoles of mist to full frontal glory is still the most provocative show in town."

- Mary Moore Mason

Today is the big day, the celebration of the Golden Gate Bridge's 75th Anniversary is going to be amazing! I am not going to brave the traffic to attend, but hopefully the fireworks will be visible from up here in the East Bay hills. We have had a cold, overcast weekend so far, so it will take a bit of luck. Have I mentioned that I am crazy in love with the GGB?

Enjoy the last of my archived Golden Gate Bridge series, buy stay tuned, I need to add some new GGB photos to my file this year. In the mean time, to read about an exciting new art project that's centered around the Golden Gate Bridge, see the link below! It's FABULOUS!

Not nearly as dramatic as your pictures. :-)
Have a great Memorial Day.

I thought of you when I heard of the bridge's anniversary. I should have known you would commemorate it!
