It's more than just Memorial Day weekend here in the Bay Area, it's the 75th Anniversary of the our dearest symbol of home, the Golden Gate Bridge. I have decided to delve into my archives this weekend, to share with you all the different photographs I have taken of the Golden Gate over the last few years. The Golden Gate Bridge takes my breath away, every time I see it. I have been inspired to photograph the bridge many, many times but, somehow each time I see it, I always feel like it's for the very first time.
If it is possible to be truly in love with a bridge, I know that I am completely, hopelessly, in love with the Golden Gate Bridge.The photos all have a story that goes with them, some special inspiration to photograph the bridge in particular. And as I looked through the archived collection I thought of all the picnic dates Alan and I have had at the bridge, I remembered old friends, and lost friends, and how through it all the Golden Gate was always there to make me smile, or soothe my heartache. It's a special place, I will love forever.

Fantastic images of the bridge Carly. It is a location that should be on everyone's bucket list...it's just THAT beautiful. How fortunate you are to have it practically in your neighborhood. I always have, and always will enjoy seeing your pictures of this iconic landmark. Maybe one day, I'll get out there and you'll take me on a little tour of your favorite bridge photography spots.
