Nude Coconut

"Keep your love of nature, for that is the true way to understand art more and more."

-Vincent van Gogh

The butterfly exhibit at the, Conservatory of Flowers, is in it's last four weeks, and they had some spectacular butterflies yesterday for me to photograph! But they also has some really unusual plants and trees on display. This coconut had it's very own glass case, because of it's...Ahem...Uniqueness! :)

"We are like butterflies, who flutter for one day, and think it is forever."

-Carl Sagan

The Birth Of A Butterfly...

"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."

-Hans Christian Anderson

Extremely pleasing to the eye, but I always wonder what the first thought is when someone finds something like this "unique" coconut...

That coconut looks vaguely vagina-like to me :)

I went to the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls last summer. It was really cool! Thousands of butterflies flying around free and landing on us.

I'll be bummed when the exhibit closes. You've gotten some great shots while it's gone on. I always love the look on a butterfly's face. You got that twice here :-)
