Curious Carly Gets An Ultrasound :)

"A good laugh, and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book."

-Irish Proverb

Ok, so I went for the ultrasound test, provided by the machine in the above photo, and it went well. :) I was able to take a look at my Mammography results, and see the lumps they found. Yep, it wasn't one lump, it was two, and a strange looking Lymph node. The doctor was able to tell that the two lumps were consistent with benign tumors. No worries. The Lymph nodes looked odd, because of my allergy to aluminum. So, I got a clean bill of health, but my doctor made me promise to come in each year from now on for the Mammogram. I smiled at her and said..."Oh yes, I don't need to be warned twice!" So, same time next year for my date with Mr. Squishy. :) Hey, he isn't the worst date I ever had, and come to think of it, I have had bad boyfriends who squeezed harder. ROFL. Now, who wants to go next?

that's great news!!!...I'm really happy for you that it wasn't something you had to worry about.. but look at all the worry you did anyway... we all do it.

The relief is worth a treat of some sort isn't it? lol..

LOL looks like I'm next......my first one ever is scheduled for next Wed. Course I've had it scheduled and had to cancel 3 times already in the last 2 weeks. One of the downfalls of my job.

Well, I should have had one starting at 40 and never did it. Now at 43, my doctor is on my ass to do it. I guess I'd better. I don't know why I don't.

How badly does the squishing hurt? Tell me for real. I've never had one and I wanna be prepared.

I'm glad those lumpers were benign!

I think the worst thing about a mammogram is the embarrassment of it! I mean,yeah..it's uncomfortable...but to have someone actually lift your sagging (well mine sag) boob and put it on a plate and squish it...well, it's just awful!
So glad you got a good report!
Love ya,
Connie

Hooray for the good news (about what I expected), and LOL to "his" name. I got my mammography results back by mail from last week. No problems here, either!
