EMPS #81: St Patrick's Day
An Irish Toast...
May you die in bed at ninety-five years, shot by a jealous husband (or wife).
St. Patrick's Day is a big deal around my house. My husband, Alan, is half Irish, VERY half Irish, so we never miss the holiday. This will be our 19th St. Patrick's Day together as husband and wife, and we always enjoy the day reminiscing about all the happy times we have had. It's kinda our thing. We never miss an opportunity to celebrate, it's just fun! This year was a little more low-key then in previous years, due to Alan's being under the weather. He is ok, just getting over a cold, so no green beverages this year, but we had all the other traditional holiday fare. I didn't make a dessert this time around, so I owe him a Key Lime Pie for Easter! LOL. Yikes... Easter is just a couple week's away! :)
Did you participate in this week's Monday Photo Shoot? If not, there is still time. You have until next Sunday at 9:00 PM EST. Click here for all the details!

Sorry your hubby was under the weather and missed out on the green drinks and dessert! The meal looks delish anyway!

The meal look delicious!
I'm not very familiar with St Patrick day celebrations, there's a carnival held by the Irish community here, but I only knew about it after it was over.
I think you need to share the recipe with all of us. It looks delicious!
