Let's have a little fun... shall we? If you voted today, leave me a comment that says "I Voted!" You don't have to say anything else, just "I Voted!" Of course, if you want to say more you are welcome to, but for one day I thought it might be nice to simply share something all American's have in common. THE RIGHT TO VOTE! Is there a better way to spend the first Tuesday in November?

Note: Laura has written a very touching entry about accompanying her daughter to the polls, as she voted for the first time! Go read her entry. :) You'll smile!

I voted this morning. It was easy and fast.
I voted ... it wasn't fast and easy. We waited in line OVER two hours!
i voted three weeks ago pre-surgery just in case i couldn't get out but i did go to the polls today with my daughter for her FIRST TIME!

our polling place was hit and miss as far as lines and wait time. we got in and out with no wait but as were leaving about 6 folks were lined up.
i have to say regardless of the outcome, although i do care very much, i am so excited about the turnout across the country.
