It's been a busy week. Alan and I decided to purchase a new computer... finally. I was reluctant, in that we had a little money in the bank, and it felt nice to not have to worry for a change. It has been a really oppressive time since Governor Schwarzenegger imposed his forced furlough program. But with the tax return, we have a little bit of breathing room, even with the computer purchase. :) Life is much easier with the new friend, now I will have to think of a name for her.

I have to say, so far I am very impressed. This is the quietest computer we have owned so far, and it didn't contain all kinds of unnecessary programs. So far I am LOVING my new toy! :)
